About Us

We have exploited nature indiscriminately for a long and now it’s the right time to restore it. Come “ Let’s Nurture the Nature ”. Protection and restoration of mother Earth, we wish to do.

The aim of establishing this organization is to control the imbalance of nature caused by different anthropogenic activities for past few decades. The logic behind the name “Satisfaction” is that although every person wants to earn money, comfort and wish to complete his/her duties; however, when he/she analyzes the whole day and thinks whether they are satisfied or not? Every human being aims to get satisfaction. Satisfaction may be for money, food, comfort or any other things. Similarly, with a novel intension of being satisfied for our duties towards our nation or planet, a very small team of some eco-warriors of a small village Kurabad, Udaipur District (Raj.), Dr. Satish K. Ameta, the Founder and President of this Non Governmental Organization (NGO) established it on 15 September, 2011 under Rajasthan Sanstha Ragistration Act, 1958 with a registration no. -123/Udaipur/2011-12. Many basic objects were selected for working including Education, Health, Woman Empowerment, etc. but primary target and work is focused on Climate change and Plantation. Presently, this team is known in Udaipur region for its environmental conservation, plantation activities and working in collaboration of some spiritual and youth teams such as HUM (Hanuman Yuva Mandal Kurabad), Kesari Seva Sansthan, Kurabad, etc. Our prime objective is to spread environmental awareness among persons of all age groups, promote smart and sustainable use of resources & alternative energy resources, connect every person to plantation activities, make aware people about importance of conservation of biodiversity, saving natural resources and electricity, etc. Our ultimate aim is to bring large impacts even by taking some small, but necessary steps for conservation of nature. We have created the problem for nature in the name of so called development and now is the time for working for sorting out the solution to this problem by nurturing the nature. We wish to develop intense forest areas on barren Aravali hills (Restoration) and villages, green zones in cities, and a tree for every home. We want to utilize waste land of our country for plantation (wherever suitable), so that it may work as lungs of mother Earth. We are committed to our mother Earth for its protection and restoration. Yes, it is satisfaction about our environmental duties toward Earth and particularly, our home, because providing a proper environment for my each breath is its gift. Let us finish with tagline of the Satisfaction NGO" Lets Nurture the Nature ". Please be with us and be with environment.

Satisfaction Organization’s mission is to spread environmental awareness and bring a positive change through real engagement. We want to bring global impacts by doing small things. Here, we are performing the things to reduce carbon footprint and combat against climate change. We are trying to impart the knowledge to public for conservation of biodiversity and natural resources. We are educating the present generation for future generations. Yes, we are teaching the ways for getting sustainable development.
We are having a religious place just 2 Km away from Kurabad village known as Kurabadiya Bheru ji on a hill. On one hand, this place has covered a very big area while on the other hand, represented by very poor vegetation. During the year 2015-16, some of our team members visited the site and found that the hill is almost naked as there was only a single big tree of Indian Elm Tree(Holoptelia Integrifolia) on the top of the hill with some 4-5 other small trees but surprisingly, that particular big plant has sheltered a large number of variety of birds. So the idea was originated that if we can develop a community of 50-100 endemic plants here initially; then how worthy it would be for the biodiversity and entire ecosystem over here. When we were planning, some of the local persons said that it is a rocky area and it is very difficult to grow trees here. But we didn’t care for that, we started planning the things and everyone said that we can do it. Innocently saying when we dig the first pit, it took 3 hours because it consisting of a rock few inches inside of soil. We got sours in our hand, at that time everyone was thinking that is it a right decision or not? But again everyone said yes, we can do it. The enthusiasm of entire team brought the energy and again, we started doing the work but this time we also took the help of a JCB. We could dug approx. 50 pits there and within a week planted various plants of endemic species of the region including Peepal (Ficus religiosa), Banyan (Ficus benghelensis), Tesu (Butea monosperma), Shisham (Dalbergia sissoo), Amlatas (Cassia fistula), Baans (Dendrocalamus strictus), Neem (Azadiracta indica), Karanj (Pongamia pinnatta), etc. While starting the project, we were only 20 members at that time but now when this project completed 2 years, we are 200. We were having several challenges with the project i. e. this area was not having enough water, having a lot of predators including cow, goat, bull, camel, etc.; they damaged the plants many times even we protected it with tree guards and excess to this place was also not easy, etc.. Team satisfaction bravely faced all the challenges. We developed certain “Jugads” for providing water to the plants in extreme summer. With the help of the Jugaad, we could nurture many plants with less water. We arranged the water tankers for watering some plants for those areas, where tanker could reach. Many areas, where tanker could not reach we watered the plants manually by buckets. As the organic matter was very less in the soil so we provided vermicompost to the plants; the vermicompost was also prepared by our self only. Now after two years, one can see the changes now. There are around 50 trees of 5-15 feet length. Still we did not get those results yet but one can see a juvenile ecosystem there, which will harbour thousands life in future. Now almost 90 percent plants have been reached at self sustaining stage that they do not need any care from us.Now I again think the day, when we took the decision of developing a forest here. It was so challenging even taking the decision also. Everyone other than the team Satisfaction was telling the difficulties of path and some of them said that it is impossible to plant, maintain and grow tree here. But there was something, the spirit, the determination and a assemble voice of a team who said yes, we can do it. Finally, we could do; when we saw someone sitting under the shadow of tree planted by us, it gives us satisfaction. Even, if the tree is very small, the shadow is little bit but the efforts are really remarkable. I remember the days, when there was not a single small bush earlier in an ascent of 1500 feet but now some small trees are there at an interval of 40 feets. I am remembering the day, when someone said me that impossible says I M Possible. Team satisfaction’s wholeheartedness proved that thing again; yes everything is possible, if one wants to do it. These achievements are a direct result of the dedication, hard work, passion and vision of our team. This performance will definitely nourish our future work and at last, I want to say that we will always compete with our self and improve; it’s not best, the best is yet to come.
The two extraordinary forces are a big threat for our planet: climate change and ecological loss. Due to these threats, our future is predictable that we are converting the heaven in hell. This is the reality and if humanity is going to flourish. If we are to create a habitable and prosperous world for our children and grandchildren, we must have to change. Our journey is for bringing the change and we are getting initial success too. We are active in various Universities and several members of our team are working or studying in those Universities. So we are already having team members from various states of India. They are contributing in our Harit Yatra (The green revolution), Nadaan Parinde and some other projects at Rajasthan and their vicinity as well. In future, we want to develop a more responsible and dedicated team and we wish to engage school children from very basic level with our campaignings. We want to incorporate a consciousness about conservation of environment in them from their childhood. We also want to become more active on social sites because nowadays, it is playing a crucial role in spreading good and bad things; so we wish to spread the good things for planet Earth and environment through the social sites. We want to continue and expand our already running projects. We wish to work on one mega project also and that is establishment of Endangered plant reserve (EN plant reserve), where we will give our special emphasis on conservation of endangered plant species of our area. It includes active engagement of school and college students. Actually, the basis of the idea is that we are not aware about threatened and endangered plant species of our area; so we wish to develop an area for conservation of such species. We don’t want to conserve them only but the main thing is related to awareness also. By establishing such type of reserves people of that area will be cognizant about that species, which needs conservation. There is a proposal also in an EN plant reserve for regular visit of school and college students so that they also know about such species. Indeed, this idea is new and first time it is proposed by the founder of Satisfaction Organisation Dr. Satish K. Ameta. Now, we wish to implement such an innovative idea, it may bring some positive changes in keeping the ecological balance of our mother Earth in a positive aura.
